  36. commands which un-updated USRs barfed at?  That's the only one I can

  43. There's no "work around", Matt.  All Rockwell-based serious modems
  44. out there (Boca, Cardinal, Supra, Zoom, there may be others) have 
  45. updated their ROM or Flash code to fully support 3429 symbol rate.

  52. Huh?  Can't comment on others but the Zoom V.FC to V34 upgrade is still
  53. available.  And no, you don't have to have your system down to upgrade.
  54. Just send in your CC details and back comes a V34.  Then send in your
  55. old V.FC.  There are Zoom's forms with prices here:

  73. Rot.  The latest Rockwell chipset offering has both hardware and RPI+
  74. in it.  Fact remains that with RPI+ the comport has a lot less work to
  75. do than with hardware EC/DC based modems...

  82. The datapump isn't in software under either RPI or RPI+  And anyway, how
  83. do you know you couldn't run another background task?  The driver takes
  84. typically only 40k of mem...   Ten windows open?  Whatever were you up
  85. to?

  97. You've just got thru rubbishing Rockwell effectively saying it's all their
  98. fault.  Then, just a few postings later, give this advice:
